Full-Time Studio Manager

Small broadcast studio in Orange County CA seeks full time Studio Manager. BTI (Brave Thinking Institute) is a personal development and professional coaching company with 100 employees. Our Studio Manager is responsible for managing BTI Broadcast Studio located in Coto De Caza, CA.

Responsibilities

• Work 50% in studio, 50% from home.
• Oversee operation, development, and maintenance of the studio; including cameras, microphones, switcher, monitor displays, repairs, purchases, and more.
• Oversee Live studio broadcasts, 6-8 per month. Work with live Event Director in overseeing live event team, including camera, audio, technology and related team members.
• Assist our Event Director to recruit & hire additional AV staff for specific live studio events.
• Managing all video data and all data backups.
• Assist with equipment management for Video Production, for videos produced for marketing and event departments.
• Bring Newest Studio Innovations to BTI: which include: creative ideas, camera work, special effects and graphics that produce highly engaging content.
• Develop, Oversee and Manage the Media Department Budget: Oversee and manage the media budget, approve expenses, and utilize the budget to drive efficiencies and maximize excellent media production.
• Work with Creative Director to Recruit, Train, and Manage a growing World-Class Studio Team (2 current full time assistants, and growing stable of independent contractors; editors, videographers, audio engineers, etc).
• Build and train team that creates engaging live virtual events & video production that is aligned with BTI brand and mission. Motivate, lead and inspire the studio team.

In addition, willing to travel to marketing masterminds, seminars, trainings, etc. a few times per year to stay on the cutting edge of strategies, techniques and marketing ideas.

Salary: Full Time, $60,000.-$80,000 annually + benefits package (PTO, Holidays, Medical, Dental,Vision, & 401k)
